		<description>I&#039;ve been playing with a similar idea myself. Although developers dwell in sections scattered here and there - there isn&#039;t any real social-network-like environment for devs to associate with others in the kind of way in which you experienced @ WordCamp. 

What sort of ideas or things might you like to see in a community like that though and at what point does it become to big? Eg. XDA... 

I think the problem with XDA is its board-like-structure. Forums are a successful model but don&#039;t promote cohesiveness through its format and distribution of information. 

SO - the Q&amp;A beast is just that... good for Q&amp;A but there is an element of elitism there too. 

WPUnity if and when released could be good? But thats a perfect example of the Filter Bubble in effect again. Niching everything to the point of not knowing what else exists.</description>
